The location was convenient for city center exploration, with popular spots just a short walk away. Towel and wifi were included in the price, which was a bonus. They offered storage for my belongings and allowed me to shower even after checking out. Staff was nice and the room was clean.

Clean beds, social room with tables, TV, and big kitchen. Ample space to store own food. Good mattress, individual lockers. Convenient central location near shops, restaurants, and bars. Large room, great value for city center. Comfy bed, appreciated having a fan. Great central location, lift, wide stairs, parking outside. Food places and supermarket close by. Walking distance to Central City/Viaduct. Unexpected extras in double room - TV, fridge, and bathroom. Cozy lobby with couches.

The prices are very reasonable, especially considering the attention to detail throughout the hotel. The location, tucked away behind the social area, offers a quiet and peaceful ambiance, but still conveniently close to everything. The staff are friendly and provide excellent service, making our stay even more enjoyable. Basic amenities are well-maintained, and the rooms on the 7th floor, where the internet connection was better, were a pleasant surprise. The breakfast provided was delicious and a great way to start the day.
No improvements needed, everything was fantastic.

This hotel is conveniently located near an Asian grocery store, which was perfect for me! the room I stayed in had a great service and breakfast, which made my stay even better. Plus, the view was incredible! the hotel also had superb leisure facilities, which were a highlight for me as someone who had to leave early in the morning.
One downside was the noise level, which occasionally made it difficult to sleep.

The hotel offers great value for money, with affordable prices and attention to detail. The prime location behind the social area is perfect for concert goers, as it is within walking distance to the venue. The staff provides excellent service and the basic amenities, including the rooms with bunks and a kitchen on the first floor with its own bathroom, cater to all your needs. The breakfast is a delightful added bonus.
All in all, this hotel was more than satisfactory.

Had a great time during my business trip. The complementary mini fridge and amenities in the private bathroom were a nice touch. The friendly staff guided me to key city centre locations via public transport – much appreciated. One more advantage was a clean kitchen with all the pans and plates needed for my short stay.
Building work in the area was loud in the early morning and affected breakfast. The dorm room led off the common area, adding to the late-night noise issue.

This hostel exceeded my expectations. the staff was friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean. I particularly enjoyed the complimentary breakfast and the free Wi-Fi. the location was fantastic, with many popular attractions and bars nearby. It was the perfect place to stay during my business trip.
The communal kitchen was not kept clean by all guests, which made it difficult to use. the noise from other guests partying late into the night was quite disruptive.

I stayed at this hotel for 3 weeks and it quickly became one of my favorites in New Zealand. The staff at reception were incredibly friendly and helpful, always making sure I had everything I needed. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The hotel also had a big living room with beautiful paintings on the wall, giving it a cozy and artistic atmosphere. Additionally, the location was perfect, being near the city center and the harbor.
One aspect that could be improved at this hotel is the number of plugs in the bedrooms. There weren't enough for all the electronic devices, which was a bit inconvenient.
